We are a husband and wife duo offering piano, organ and vocal performing (weddings and other functions) and teaching. We also buy, sell and move pianos.
Irene Grant-Jones is a highly successful soprano and singing teacher.
Irene is a highly versatile singer with an exceptionally large vocal range. She is exquisite in the classical repertoire and just adorable in the show songs from musicals and contemporary scene. Her voice is idolised by everyone who hears it and her singing brings the emotion right to peoples' souls.
She will bring life to any occasion through her singing and bubbly personality whether it be a home gathering, a funeral or wedding, or a large concert hall.
Irene has a unique singing teaching ability. She knows exactly what is going on inside any pupil's voice or breathing mechanism at any time. Her singing pupils (children and adults) always achieve a high level of success from whatever their starting point. She sorts out their vocal production and how to perform music with imagination that captures their audience.
Tim Grant-Jones is in demand as a pianist and accompanist, and also as a teacher of piano.
He also teaches GCSE and A-level music. He offers a piano moving service for any upright piano to anywhere in the UK, and always has pianos available for sale or hire.
He works as an accompanist with professionals and talented young performers as well as amateurs and musicians working towards their grade or diploma exams, or performances wherever they may be, as well as choral societies and opera companies.
He has a unique way of enabling pupils to learn music through the piano and perform with confidence. Many of his pupils achieve an A* at GCSE music well before the normal age.
Tim developed his piano moving service initially by helping pupils find a good piano to learn on. He buys, sells and hires good used pianos.
